Rosemary Court sits in the heart of the vibrant community of Fulwell, 1.5 miles north of Sunderland city centre with nearby amenities including Roker Park, beaches at Roker (0.6 miles away) and Seaburn, supermarkets, coffee shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Ideally located for transport links: Nearby Fulwell Road is on a bus route into the city centre with the number 23 bus running every 10 minutes during the day and twice an hour after 7 pm. We are located just 0.8 miles from the Stadium of Light Metro station. The Metro runs between Sunderland and Newcastle city centres, and Newcastle International Airport with trains around every 12 minutes.

1.5 miles north of Sunderland city centre, we’re in the Fulwell area of Sunderland. In nearby Roker, there is the Marina, National Glass Centre, University of Sunderland’s St Peters Campus, Roker Park and Roker Beach which leads to Seaburn Beach on the Coast to Coast cycle route. Other local attractions include The Stadium of Light (1 mile), Sunderland Empire and Penshaw Monument, Durham (16 miles), Newcastle (12 miles) and South Shields (6 miles)

Pub food is served locally at The Cliff, The Derby and Poetic Licence. The new Pier point development in Roker includes Six, Love Lilly, Faustos, The Scullery and Downeys Fish & Chips. Whilst at Seaburn there is the Stack offering live music and world kitchen food kiosks, The Promenade Pub, Gabrielles, The Shagorika, Salthouse Kitchen, Zen and a good seaside selection of fish and chip shops. Independent coffee shops run along the seafront including Cole’s Kitchen, The Hideout and The Funky Beach Café.
